I work at the University of Zurich/ETH Language Center, where I am responsible for the English programme. We provide language and communication training for students at all levels of their studies and the staff of both institutions. My research interest is English as a Lingua Franca in academic and professional contexts. I have an MA in Education (TESOL) from the Institute of Education in London and a PhD from the University of Birmingham in Applied Linguistics.

My first language is English. I speak French fluently and German reasonably well (learning in progress!).
